About Us

The United States Baseball Stars (USBS) program consists of a group of baseball coaches that are committed to improving baseball and leadership skills of all the USBS selected players. We pride ourselves in finding the most qualified people to assist in providing quality opportunities for young athletes. All parties associated with the USBS program have extensive experience in professional and collegiate baseball.

Through our efforts in player development and participation in international competition we provide an opportunity for the motivated and skilled baseball player, who is looking to play at the collegiate level, travel to all areas of the world, and compete against international teams. We feel strongly that if a player has a chance to play on a USBS team he will have a memorable and rewarding experience, while furthering his chances to play baseball at the collegiate level.

In addition to having the opportunity to play in an international setting, we pride ourselves in finding the most qualified coaches to assist in each player’s development. We canvass the country to ensure that we find motivated and skilled players who are looking to improve their game and compete in a foreign country. We use the same philosophy in selecting our coaches. In order to ensure that the USBS can efficiently improve each player’s game we use our network of coaches that minimally have collegiate playing and/or coaching experience. Because we offer interesting coaching challenges and the opportunity to travel internationally, we are able to employ quality coaches that have extensive experience teaching the game. We feel that each coach will be uniquely qualified to help our players succeed. Our carefully selected coaches are experienced in teaching the fundamentals of baseball and have expertise on what to expect during the college recruitment process. An important component of our program includes offering suggestions on how to navigate college recruitment and help them to market themselves to potential colleges and universities.

Since the USBS program traveled to its first international competition in Europe during the summer of 1998, we have built an international reputation as an outstanding group of coaches committed to offering growth opportunities to athletes. USBS has scouted thousands of players during its years of operation and has an overall acceptance rate of 10-15%. We look to canvass the country to find the best baseball talent that is willing to commit to international travel and have the ability to compete against international players in the host country to which we travel. We feel this is an exciting opportunity for a young player that is looking to find exposure to different situations through the experience of athletics. USBS teams have played in seven different countries (Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Dominican Republic).
