International Competition

International Competition

Our players should be ready for workouts and 2 games daily during our stay on the island. Our time will be devoted to teaching the game and playing against the collection of Dominican teams that look forward to competing against you! Expect to be on the field early in the morning to late in the afternoon.

Players and parents will have time to unwind on the beach or by the pool after a full slate of games and instruction. In addition to on the field development, we will also conduct seminars in the evening that will offer helpful hints on the college recruitment process and physical conditioning designed specifically for the flexibility and strength needed to exceed on the field.

2010 - 2011 DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TRIP FEE:

The trip fee for USBS 2010 trip costs is $1,975 for players ages 10 to 12 and $2,225 for ages 13 to 18. Please call or email if you would like to discuss costs and fundraising. Depending on the age of the travelers, the trip fee for nonplayers ranges from $500 to $1650. Supplemental fees will apply for those who require private rooms.

FUNDRAISING

We encourage each player, regardless of their financial situation, to explore the fundraising options listed below. Through years of experience taking teams overseas, the USBS coaches realize the benefits and rewards gained by the players and their families through diligent fundraising efforts. Young athletes learn to present themselves to prospective corporate sponsors, political representatives and media outlets. We feel that going through this process is a great developmental opportunity for a young athlete.

It is a remarkable accomplishment that you have qualified for this experience overseas. You have a great story to tell to prospective donors and corporate sponsors.
